Call 911 to assist in an emergency situation. If you are in danger, call 911 and do not wait for GC Campus or local police to respond.
91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Police Department
You are not required, but it is recommended that you file a police report with 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Police Department for sexual assaults and misconduct occurring on campus. Off-campus assault is reported to the local police department where the assault occurred.

Texoma Medical Center Emergency SANE
It is not required, but it is recommended to go to theTexoma Medical Center Emergency Department which is one of SANE ready hospitals if you have experienced a sexual assault. Call 911 for ambulance transport , contact GC police for transportation (903.463.8777), or secure transportation on your own.
Note: SANE is a procedure that preserves evidence of sexual assault. Collecting this evidence allows the victim to retain evidence if needed in the future.

Title IX
You are not required to report the assault to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ . If you do report, The Title IX Director will begin an investigation.
